Portland on the Park

Sustainable practices and features highlight the design and planning objectives for this Transit Oriented Development located in downtown Phoenix’s historic Arts district. The 200,000 sf Condominium project features 149 D.U. in a 12 and 14-story residential tower with a 4-story low-rise loft residential wing wrapping a multi-level parking garage of approximately 300 cars. 7,500 sf of integrated retail space, an rooftop recreation deck, pool and fitness center.

This timeless project, emphasizing clean vertical lines, capitalizes on its adjacency to the light rail, leasable public bicycles, First Friday Art Walks and Urban Farming Plots. The units cater to all demographics with sizes ranging from 750 sf lofts to a 2,400 sf three-bedroom penthouse. The architectural massing provides optimal views of adjacent parks, striking mountain preserve vistas, and downtown Phoenix. The tower features a dramatic two story terrace patio with dramatic uptown views.

Sharp horizontal balcony planes and expanses of glass create a rich facade. The thoughtfully detailed units include floating vanities, LED lighting, custom steel vanity mirrors, energy star appliances, and European style cabinetry. In an era where monetary constraints rule over construction means and methods, this project proves to challenge this paradigm. Portland on the Park sets a new standard for downtown Phoenix urban living.
