DAVIS' programmatic objective was design a unique and timeless commercial office environment at a key intersection in the prestigious Camelback corridor. The campus consists of a 200,000 sf 4-story office building, a 100,000 3-story office building, and a detached 4-story parking structure sunk two levels in the ground, maintaining a scale and character complimentary to the residential neighborhood it faces.
The office buildings feature curved limestone end walls that recede as the building increases in height, presenting a graduated and graceful elevation. Bronze-tinted glass encases the interior office space, and is laced together by a horizontal and vertical aluminum metal grid that spans the feature walls.
The site plan provides primary ingress and egress off less trafficked 32nd Street, maximizing frontage on Camelback Road. The interior public spaces and two-story lobby consist of a neutral color scheme, mahogany panels, mill-finished stainless steel, and green and buff colored travertine to create a relaxed working environment within the busy city corridor.
